How will my order be shipped?
We offer all customers the full range of shipping options provided by Fedex & the US Postal Service.
How do I choose the shipping service for my order?
After adding products to your cart and entering your shipping address, you will be given a range of shipping options in a drop-down menu.
In most cases the most economical choice for US customers will be USPS Priority Mail (there is a 13-ounce weight limit on USPS domestic First Class Mail). For larger domestic packages over 2 pounds, Fedex Ground is sometimes cheaper.
For customers outside the US, USPS First Class Mail is the cheapest shipping option, but that service does not include tracking of any kind, and so we do not recommend First Class when shipping to countries where loss/theft of unregistered packages is a problem.
We recommend against USPS First Class Mail shipping to Italy, Mexico, China, Portugal & Turkey.
Italy in particular has presented the most problems, and therefore we strongly urge our Italian customers to choose either Fedex or USPS Express to ensure the security of your shipment.
We cannot be held responsible, financially or otherwise, if you live in one of the above mentioned countries and you choose USPS First Class shipping against our recommendations.
We highly recommend either Fedex shipping or US Postal Express shipping for our international customers as those two services have tracking numbers.
The Free Shipping Promotion
Customers within the US, with orders of $100 or more, will see a Free Shipping option in most cases. Exceptions to this promotion: we cannot offer free shipping on custom toys. We give the vast majority of the money from the sale of custom toys to the artists who created them, and there is very little left over for us. Additionally, some artists prefer to ship their customs to the customer themselves, so the shipping money is sent directly to the artist along with their cut of the sale.
Another exception to our Free Shipping promotion is some (not all) of the ThreeA toys. Due to the high import costs of some of these toys, we barely make any money on them. Offering free shipping on ThreeA reduces our profit to zero, which is not a great business plan.
