The Story of Uglydolls Uglydolls came about when Sun-Min and David were dating and living far away from each other.
David was working some minimum-wage job and often wrote letters to Sun-Min which included charicature drawings of himself at his job. Sun-Min, being the crafty type, turned one of these 2D characters into a plushie and sent it back to him. This became Wage. David showed Wage to one of his friends who had a gallery & the rest was history! Sun-Min and David came up with an initial 9 characters (there are now at least 14- or many more if you count all the vinyl toys that have spun off) and released their Uglydoll plushies upon the unsuspecting world. What started out as a one-off plushie toy from one forlorn lover to another became a worldwide phenomenon! We are proud to offer a wide selection of Uglydoll products in both vinyl and plush!
Uglydoll sizing: Regular Uglydolls are 13 to 14 inches (33-35cm) tall, Little Uglies are 6 to 7 inches (15-18cm) tall, and the keychains are 4 to 5 inches (10-13cm) long.
